TDI / TID 8300
The TID 8303.I system is based on structured light projection, where patterns are projected sequentially onto the tire side wall and captured with a camera. This creates a 3D point cloud which is then evaluated using image processing algorithms in order to calculate the required characteristics. The technology of structured light projection is used to inspect the tire while it is on a conveyor belt or while another inspection is being performed. Neither tire nor camera need to move when capturing data. TID8303.I uses the depth data of the scanned object to eliminate interferences such as differences in surface glossiness and color. Inaccuracies caused by movements, as experienced with other systems that require the tire to rotate, are not an issue here. Typical applications for identityCONTROL TID8303.I include DOT CODE and TIN recognition, color code inspections, and very soon also defect recognition.
